With little industry regulation, it’s easy to be confused.

There are many skin care products on the shelves that claim to be organic or natural, despite the fact that they also use synthetic chemical ingredients including artificial perfumes or dyes. This includes products that contain some certified organic ingredients.

Read their labels carefully and you might find you’re disappointed.

Only a certified organic skin care product has to achieve certain standards for the derivation and processing of ingredients to be able to claim organic status - and have to verify that all ingredients sourced and processed comply with the certifying organic authority's criteria for certification.

      Certification is your guarantee.

Natural ingredients can still be farmed with pesticides.  Organic ingredients are derived from an innovative and dedicated method of farming and production that that doesn't harm the environment and enhances our lives, well being and the environment.

Full product certification by a reputable certifier is really your only assurance that the Certified Organic product you put on your skin is made from ingredients grown and processed without the use of synthetic chemicals, fertilisers, pesticides or GMOs.

Certified Organic products must comply with strict national production standards that allow trace back of all products to their origin.
